For over 40 years, the Community Health Worker (CHW) has been at the forefront of tackling the health conditions of the Filipino people at the ground level. The CHW contributes to building a people’s health movement by organizing communities through education and training, networking with fellow health advocates and providing basic health services to the masses.

A CHW envisions a healthcare system that is nationalist, relevant, accessible, and responsive to the needs of the people.

Know more as guest speakers share their strategies, success stories, and challenges as they lay the foundations for an alternative health care system that serve an integral part for a pro-people social movement.

See you this August 12-13, 2015 at the Dietary Function Room, 2nd Floor, Main Building, Philippine General Hospital.
